I've had the opportunity to model for the Bee Inspired Charity Fashion Show for the bullying prevention non-profit organization, Be Like You. I shot a commercial for the event, was featured on CBS 8 News, and modeled for several local designers including Hilary Buenconsejo.

Alana has recently been featured on several radio station interviews during the 2019 PIFA season including, Newstalk K57 (Guam), Island Block Radio (Los Angeles), Jammin 95.7, the Par Bar Podcast, and other San Diego based radio stations.

The ParBar Podcast is a local San Diegan group who live-streams all around the world. With a reach all the way to the islands, they are bringing awareness to hot Pacific Islander topics. It was such an honor to promote the 24th Annual Pacific Islander Festival on their show as well as share the beginning of Sincerely, Alana.

I had the wonderful opportunity to promote PIFA's 25th Anniversary and season of events, starting off with our Beach Clean Up, the Taste of the Pacific, and the Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego Pageant. I was given the chance to speak more about the pageant and the platform that I aim to actively fulfill while running for the 2019-2020 title of Miss Pacific Islander.

This one's from 2016 when I was invited to be apart of a photoshoot that captured Pacific Islander women in San Diego. All outfits were custom made my Uoleni Tupuola and hair and make up was done by Shanell Cedeno, owner of Beautiful You.
