Is Love ALWAYS Present?

10:40 PM

Being in love is one of the most amazing feelings that anyone will ever have the pleasure of experiencing (at least that's what we think when we're in love). Whether it be with your child, your man, your mother, or even your father. Loving someone and knowing that the love you give is being given back to you unconditionally is a feeling that I can't even begin to describe. One of the women I follow on Twitter asked a question tonight. In short she asked, when you're in a relationship, is the love consistent, or do you fall in and out. To that I said, I don't think you fall in and out of love, it just becomes a part of your life. Something that you don't really think about. Then there are certain moments when you become more aware of that feeling, and it's like, "Oh!" Love is always present if you're with the one you want to be with, the one you're supposed to be with.

Love is, amazing, scary, overwhelming, and beautiful. But if you find that the love is gone, the relationship might be on its last leg. It's like waiting for the other shoe to drop. At some point, you settle into the love that the person you are with is giving you, and you accept it, and smile because you know that you are loved just as much as you love. So no, falling in and out of love doesn't happen in a relationship. That kind of indecision is what happens when you're trying to get over someone or get out of a situation. Uncertainty is what happens when love meets, I'm not ready yet. But you won't always be uncertain, there will come a day when you just...know, and you accept everything that is meant to be.
